The Grab Gape hook sizes are one size larger than customary sizing. For example, the #8 Grab Gape hook is closer in size to a #10; and a #16 Grab Gape is closer in size to an #18. This holds true for only this model in the Hayabusa/Fulling Mill range. The other models have customary, European sizing.
